Often given to people that are most important in one's life - lovers, old friends and close family. - White camellias convey the expression of deep admiration, and can also symbolize perfection. Offered to the deceased, they can reflect deep, peaceful mourning, and outside of Japan (when they're also connected to the concept of "divinity", and by association "spirituality", "immateriality" and by stretch, "death"), they can also be given to living as a genuine wish for good luck and fortune to reach them. - Pink camellias symbolize heartfelt longing, and are perfect for couples in long distance relationships.
